That is why we try our best to make sure your journey is as straight forward as possible.
The less, the better
You won’t need to bring all of your ski gear with you to Obergurgl. Save your energy and money for extra luggage, as the newest equipment is waiting for you at our Scheiber Sport shop. Tailored perfectly to your needs and skill level, you can find yourself on new equipment each day in order to try out new technology.
This way, you’ll have more space on the plane, in the car, and on the bus.
Our tip: Scheiber Sport is open on Saturdays until 9:30pm. This means that you can head there first thing on your arrival day and pick up your equipment for an early start the following the day on the slopes.
The shorter, the better
In total, there are 6 airports in the UK that can get you to Munich or Innsbruck – 4 of which are in London. Depending on where you live, it may be the case that your journey will already begin with a long trip to the airport. So we suggest starting your trip by first picking the nearest UK airport to you.
The choice of arrival airports is much easier, as there are only two options: Munich and Innsbruck. Innsbruck is located significantly closer to the Oetztal valley in comparison to Munich. The car trip from Innsbruck to Edelweiss & Gurgl takes only 90 minutes, whereas the drive from Munich is twice as long. In order to save time on your journey, we suggest that you fly to Innsbruck. Flying to Innsbruck not only saves time but offers a beautiful mountain panorama as you land at the airport.
The cheaper, the better
