Laughing, screaming, romping, and playing – at our Kidsclub in the Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl your children, both small and large, can enjoy themselves until their hearts are content. Between being high up on the climbing wall, playing pinball or starting a foosball tournament, boredom is never an option. In order to provide your children with the variety they desire, our counsellors are constantly busy helping with new activities like painting or taking part in snow-based fun with the little ones.

Family Ski Holiday in Obergurgl without Skiing

Of course, you can ski with us until the end of time. But for those who are looking for something a bit different to strapping on the boards, Obergurgl has just the right options. The absolute best family fun activity is the 3 km long natural toboggan run. Your “race car” with two skids can be picked up at Sport Shop Scheiber directly in the hotel. It’s an easy ride up to the top of the Hochgurglbahn lift, and it’s here that the toboggan party really gets started. Enjoy the exciting ride to the valley below!

Convenient Family Ski Holidays in Obergurgl

You will love how convenient everything is. Picking up your ski equipment is as easy as heading from your room directly to the ski cellar or visiting the Scheiber Sport Shop, located on the hotel premises.

From there, it’s only a few metres until the first turnstile. No buses, no pushing, no pulling, no carrying – no struggle.

After the first ascent, you’ll experience the entire Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area to its fullest. Wide, well-groomed pistes, and an incredible mountain panorama will only help to sweeten the deal. And if you need to replenish your strength, head to one of our many traditional huts or restaurants with the whole family. Simply take off your skis, regain your energy, and get back out on the pistes.

Even the way back to the hotel is simple. Ski directly to the entrance of the Scheiber Sport Shop or the ski check and leave your skis in safe hands overnight. While the adults head off for a little après ski fun, the kids can pop on over to the playroom and use up their last bits of energy.
