In the summer, the glacier village is in full bloom! More than twenty-one 3,000-meter peaks and numerous glaciers attract mountain enthusiasts to the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl region. Visitors have so many trails to choose from, they never get bored as they climb up to glacier moraines. The unrivalled Oetz Valley National Park is a natural Alpine zoo where many cute woodchucks, herds of mountain sheep, goats, chamois, and deer roam freely.
