Traditional alpine hut in the heart of Obergurgl
In the middle of the pine forest, right next to the Steinmann cable car, which is open in winter, our Zirben Alm hut host spoils guests with culinary delicacies, garnished with an extra portion of Tyrolean hospitality. It is run by the same team as the 4*S Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl and is the perfect place for a relaxing lunch or a cosy evening meal.

Casual, alpine and down-to-earth: This is the Zirben Alm in Obergurgl. At 1,946 metres, they know how to live. Here, they know their way around the kitchen and prepare traditional and popular Tyrolean recipes.
But there is more on offer than just the gourmet cuisine. Both hikers and skiers who want to warm up or treat themselves between their adventures on the slopes also particularly appreciate the sun terrace and the après-ski bar. And non-skiers need not feel left out. They too can easily enjoy the ski hut hotspot: The Zirben Alm is only a 20-minute walk from the village centre, so a visit can be combined with an idyllic winter walk.
