From the gentle route to Langtalereckhütte to the high-alpine line to the Seelenkogel: Obergurgl-Hochgurgl offers ski tours of every kind – scenic, physically demanding, or technically challenging.

Depending on weather, group size and fitness level, day tours can be planned flexibly – thanks to the altitude, often until well into May.

    Short ascent, technically easy – perfect for beginners

    Intermediate tour with glacier views – requires good stamina

The main ski touring season in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl runs from December to April. Spring – especially March and April – often offers perfect firn conditions for unforgettable descents.

The area offers high-alpine routes to peaks such as Eiskögele (3,233 m), Hochfirst (3,403 m) and Schalfkogel (3,537 m). The tour to Langtalereckhütte is also a popular option, with impressive views of the Ötztal Alps.
