Declaration of Accessibility
Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl Scheiber GmbH endeavours to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1). This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.edelweiss-gurgl.com/.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is not compatible with the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1' or the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The following content is not accessible because it represents a disproportionate burden in accordance with Section 12a (6) BGG:
- On single pages there are images without captions. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers. | WCAG: 1.1.1
- There are links without link text on all pages. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- On many pages, the contrast between text and background is too low. | WCAG: 1.4.3
- On single pages there are 'iframe' elements without labelling. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- No language is stored in the HTML on single pages. | WCAG: 3.1.1
- There are form fields without a label on single pages. It is difficult to navigate to the form fields with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- On several pages there are buttons without labelling. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- There are headings on a page that have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible to screen readers. | WCAG: 1.3.1
- The language stored on a page is invalid and does not comply with the BCP 47 standard. The page cannot be read out correctly. | WCAG: 3.1.1
- On several pages there are 'iframe' elements whose labels have already been assigned. If the elements cannot be clearly assigned, screen reader users may confuse the elements. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- On single pages, the meta viewport prevents zooming. Deactivating the zoom makes page content more difficult to read for people with visual impairments. | WCAG: 1.4.4
- There are invalid aria attribute values on several pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not output correctly. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- There are tables on single pages that have not been created correctly. Not all table data is assigned to table headers. It is not always clear which table content belongs to which table header. | WCAG: 1.3.1
- On single pages, a parent element lacks the appropriate child elements. This can confuse screen reader users because content is expected but none is there. | WCAG: 1.3.1
- On almost all pages there are elements with the Aria-hidden attribute that can be focused at the same time. This makes these elements accessible to assistive technologies, even though they should be hidden. | WCAG: 4.1.2
- On almost all pages there are scrollable elements that cannot be scrolled with the keyboard. This makes it difficult for users of assistive technologies to grasp the whole page. | WCAG: 2.1.1
- There are interactive elements on many pages whose names are not part of the caption. This makes it difficult to control the website using voice control. | WCAG: 2.5.3
